Shopping for a wall art print to complete a room can be very exciting once you find the right image. Whether you are searching for a large statement piece that ties your living and dining room together, or a gallery wall of smaller images for your hallway or bathroom, this blog helps to walk you through the process of shopping for a print on my website. Leave this page open on your phone while shopping on your laptop or vice versa so you don't miss a step.
Paper Prints
When you click on an image to buy, you will be given a dropdown menu to choose your print type. If you want a traditional framed print, choose from paper prints or fine art prints. You will then be given finish options. I prefer the lustre finish because it's fingerprint resistant and less glare. After choosing your paper type and finish, click "view cart" where you will find a "finishing options" tab beneath each print order.
Paper prints have matting and framing options for specific standard print sizes. Because custom frames are not cut for every dimension, framing and matting are restricted to a curated list of standard aspect ratios. Alternatively, you can save a lot on shipping costs by ordering just the print and shopping for matting and framing locally. You'll just need to make sure you order the correct size mat board and frame for your print. The mat opening should always be slightly smaller than the print itself to prevent any gaps.
When ordering paper prints, the finishing options when you view your cart also allow you to choose a foam board backing if you're looking for something minimalist, lightweight and cost effective that can be hung with picture hanging tape or sticky hooks without a frame. I suggest adding the protective coating when choosing this option to help protect the surface of the print.
Wall Art Printing Options
If you are looking for a canvas wrap, metal print, or wood, choose from this option.
Metal: Dyes are infused directly into a specially coated aluminum sheet to create a print with incredible luminescence, detail, and durability. Choose from high gloss, mid gloss, or satin. The higher the gloss, the more reflection you will get on the surface of your print. This can be very distracting in a room that has a lot of light bouncing around, so if you like a glossy finish, consider the light in the room.
ThinWraps: Beautiful print with satin laminate neatly wrapped around sturdy, 3/16" gatorboard. Choose from lustre finish or canvas for a more textured look.
Traditional Canvas: Canvas is wrapped around a wooden frame with part of the photo visible on the sides of the frame.
Stretched Canvas: The canvas is stretched around a wooden frame and stapled on the edges, leaving the full image visible on the front.
Flat Mounted Canvas: The canvas is mounted onto rigid Gatorboard.
Wood: Striking print with a warm and natural feel influenced by the color and texture of the certified sustainable maple wood.
Acrylic Metal: A sleek and modern mounting option for a stunning metal print. The 1/4" acrylic face enhances and protects the underlying print and is mounted with four stainless steel posts. Some assembly required.

The sizes available are based on the dimensions of the photos themselves to eliminate excessive cropping when choosing your preferred print size. Slight cropping may occur with some print sizes which can be adjusted when viewing your cart. For the least amount of cropping possible, choose from the Best Fit category under Standard Sizes.
